LGBTQ Health and Wellness Conference and Safe Zone Training
The 5th Annual LGBTQ Health & Wellness Conference will take place Saturday, April 29th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Des Moines University’s Academic Center Lecture Halls.
This conference aims to provide education, public awareness, and resources on the health needs of the LGBTQ community while providing networking opportunities for both health professionals and the general public.
Health conference tickets include lunch and a light breakfast. Certificates of attendance will be available for those wanting to apply for CEUs.

One Iowa is also hosting a Safe Zone Training on Friday, April 28th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (location TBD). Participants in the SafeZone training will learn about terminology, resources, and strategies to create safe spaces in their facilities. Registration for Safe Zone training includes lunch.
